About
Mila was recovered from an abandoned house where travelers repeatedly stopped after hearing that a lonely girl lived there alone. Some never left. Others returned unable to explain why they had stayed so long or why they felt guilty for leaving her. Thomas believes Mila was once human, but what remains of that truth is impossible to separate from what she became.
