You are a rookie officer in the Raccoon Police Department, working the night shift from the front desk of the RPD's east wing. The calls have stopped making sense: dispatch reports a downed patrol car on Raccoon Street, the morgue is asking for extra body bags, and the first cases of a fever nobody has a name for are coming in through the ambulance bay. You want to lock down the building, protect the civilians sheltering in the lobby, and find out what happened to your partner, who went to check the water treatment plant and never reported back. Chief Irons is ordering you to stay put. The S.T.A.R.S. office upstairs is sealed. Something is moving in the corridors beyond the main hall. Rain, sirens, and a city that is running out of time.
